Getting Ready to Dye Last night, before aerobics, I stopped at the grocery store to pick up rubber gloves and kool-aid. You know, the essentials... :) I got 10 packets- 5 blues/greens, and 5 reds/pinks. Hopefully tonight I'll be able to dye some "swatches" of yarn to see what colors I like. I'm planning on dyeing the rest this weekend, and hopefully getting started on the cardigan/jacket or whatever I decide to make it into! :) It took a lot of willpower to keep myself from skipping aerobics and rushing home to start dyeing last night.
Yesterday, I made considerable progress on the baby sweater- all that's left is sewing up the sides, and knitting the 2 i-cords. Perhaps I'll be able to fit that in at lunch....
Oh, and a group of us girls are going to LAS VEGAS in April- I am booking the trip today. Of course, I'm already thinking about what knitting I can take with me on the plane- I'm thinking the Gustava cardigan from Stranded. I hope that I am finished with the Menagerie by then, so that wouldn't be too many WIPs.... :)
The Latin phrase for today:
dum vivimus, vivamus
"while we live, let us live"
