The Last Blissful Week of Vacation
And what better way to celebrate than with a Redskins win (finally!) and a properly attired beer?
Oh, and buying a new cell phone. Apparently, after about 3 years of constant use (and a few trips across the occasional wet parking lot), cell phones tend to have battery-life issues. Since I would occasionally like to be able to have more than 20 minutes of talking-time, I decided it was time to upgrade. My new phone even has a camera - although the only way I could upload photos from it would be to pay something like $10/month for the privilege, so I think I'll pass. But I will be able to set it up so that when a friend calls, their face will show up in my caller ID! Ah, the pleasures of technology... ;)
Tomorrow I'll be heading to the shop to help out with inventory - hopefully we'll have a good time in spite of the necessity of counting each and every ball of yarn! But before I go, I'll make some more progress on the Leila socks... these are turning into quite a fast knit! :)
