Maeve vs. The Hood
I so won. First, I finally made the stinkin' hood long enough. I bound off, pinned it together, and tried it on. And HATED it. The hood, now longer than called for to accommodate the new raglan shaping, looked awful hanging down the back. Even though I knew what I had to do, I put it off overnight just in case it thought about what it had done, and fixed it. Surprise - the next morning, the hood still looked like crap. {sigh}

and then, after I mastered the concept that the collar needed to be reversed (so the right side became the wrong side), it became this:
Here's a close-up - I used the same ribbing pattern as at the waist.
I have a few more rows to do on the collar, and then I think it will finally be done. So hopefully, while I spend the entire day at the shop, I hope to seam this bad boy up and call it DONE.
