This is what is currently sitting in my living room....

... which can only mean that it's vacation time again! In a few short minutes, I'll be attempting to survive the 8 minute 110+ degree walk to the metro, heading to the airport, and winging it to Ireland. I'm so excited! And yes, the Ireland Cardigan is safely packed!
But before I go, I finally took a picture of the finished Hand-Dyed Log Cabin blanket... I love the way it turned out, and I can't wait for Christmas to give it to my Grandma. I think it'll be the perfect size for her to drape over her lap on those chilly days. (Assuming, of course, that the temperature ever drops below "hotter than hell").

And the "mystery project" from last post? Erin nailed it - it's the start of the 2006 edition of my dad's Christmas Vest!

And one last note before I sweat to death head to the airport - Cricket wants to remind you that even when it's 110 degrees outside, rolling around on a sunny sidewalk is always a good idea!
